Methven FC let down 

 

Coastal Spirit were due to visit Methven domain on Saturday, however they were a no show and still to this day the cowards have failed to contact club president OJ Dodson to explain why or even apologise.

The mountaineers will receive a 3-0 win regardless but will their goal difference be enough come the end of the season?

 

On the flip side, the reserves took on 7 man University Burgundy Beavers in Christchurch. 0-5 up at half time, many would think the points were in the bag, however it’s never over until the final whistle and another harsh lesson was dealt to the Methven side in a already slightly tragic season. The visitors did the unthinkable and stopped playing as a team, whilst the extremely fatigued home side put them to the sword in what can only be described as a quite remarkable and heroic comeback. 

Final score 5-5.
